Thanksgiving Hours

This year we are thankful for our growing fitness family: coaches and athletes, OGs and newbies, babies and puppers – we love you all!

Labor Day Closing

The box will be closed on Monday, September 3, in observance of Labor Day.

We will have regularly scheduled classes and open gym on Saturday and Sunday, so consider getting your workouts in before hitting the beach or getting your grill on!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We are thankful for each and every member of our crazy little fitness family, on Thanksgiving Day and every day.

Kyle Otto named Head Coach

We are excited to announce that Coach Kyle Otto has stepped into the big shoes of Josh Martinez to assume the responsibilities of Head Coach effective October 1, 2017. Those of us who know Kyle as a friendly, detail oriented coach and a monster Regional level CrossFit athlete will now get a taste of his talent as an elite CrossFit programmer. Josh, an affiliate owner himself at Brooklyn CrossFit South Williamsburg and new father, will be focusing on those priorities but promises to visit Red Hook often. We are grateful for everything Josh has done in the past year to get us fitter and build our community. Congratulations to both Kyle and Josh!

New Schedule Effective May 1

In an effort to streamline our class schedule and provide better service to our members, we are making the following changes to our class schedule, effective May 1.

  • Evening classes will now be at 6:00p and 7:00p every weeknight. This means Monday and Friday classes move back 30 minutes; and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday classes move forward 30 minutes.
  • Sunday Open Floor has been extended and will run from 10:00a to 1:00p. Get your workout on earlier, or sleep in!
  • Weekday Open Floor continues to be available during all regular class hours. However, we are discontinuing the extra hours of 8:00a to 9:00a on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

2017 Fitness and Nutrition Challenge

It's back! Join us for a four-week fitness and nutrition challenge with Coach Sarah, running April 23 through May 21.

  • $50 sign-up through MindBody
  • Daily food journal and weekly check-ins
  • Private Facebook group
  • Weekly bonus missions
  • End-of-challenge potluck party
  • Prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd place female and male participants

Important Dates

Sunday, April 16 – Q&A with Coach Sarah during Open Floor
Wednesday, April 19 – Benchmark workout announced
Saturday, April 22 – Sign-up deadline
Sunday, April 23 – Kickoff weigh-in and benchmark workout deadline
Saturday, May 20 – Final weigh-in
Sunday, May 21 – Benchmark retest and potluck party!

Athlete Requirements

  • Adhere to Whole30 dietary rules to the best of your ability
  • Keep a daily food log
  • Attend CrossFit class 3 times per week
  • Weekly email check-in with Coach Sarah

Top participants will be decided by a point system based on daily log adherence, CrossFit attendance, and bonus missions.
